Research Facilities

Itenas operates basic science laboratories (central labs) to support the teaching of math and basic science courses. There are more than 48 laboratories and studios managed by the study programs in Itenas. They consist of teaching and research laboratories. Since 2014, LP2M Itenas has been operating an electric vehicle (EV) laboratory which facilitates EV-oriented research in order to support the development of national EV policy. Modernization of laboratory equipment has been done through internal budgeting, external competitive grants, and also through research collaboration, especially with the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN).

There is also the physical and non-physical support provided by LPPM regarding research by the academic community:

1. Actively exploring external opportunities and optimizing the use of the institute’s intellectual assets.
2. Dissemination of information regarding profiles and potential expertise/abilities of lecturers as well as facilities and infrastructure within the Institute.
3. Facilitation and guidance of lecturers in conducting research and community service activities.

5. Development of plans for research activities and community service at the institute through the preparation of themes and activity road maps.
6. Efforts to encourage, make efforts, and facilitate the process of obtaining intellectual property rights (IPR).
7. Coordination of activities at research/study centers and the Intellectual Property Management Unit.
8. Development of efforts to increase the intellectual abilities of academics.
9. Increasing the use of the Intellectual Property Management Unit, both for the internal benefit of the Institute and for the wider community.
10. Assistance with resources needed for research activities and community service.
