Institut Teknologi Nasional (Itenas) Bandung signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Universitas Kuningan on Wednesday (5/7/2023) in Gedung Rektorat Itenas. The ceremonial signing event was held to begin the partnership on the implementation of the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi) and the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program.

Itenas which was represented by Prof. Meilinda Nurbanasari, Ph.D. as a rector along with the vice-chancellors, deans, and staff greeted the delegations of Universitas Kuningan (Uniku) with a warm welcome. She hoped that the partnership between the two parties is mutual and can be a place of information exchange about academic or internship activities.

“From this partnership, we hope that we can reach our goal as private universities, especially in education, research, innovation, etc. And now we have the MBKM program. We also hope that this won’t be over in this ceremony, but this can be followed up with the MoA and the Implementation Agreement (IA),” said the Rector of Itenas.

Dr. Dikdik Harjadi, S.E., M.Si. as the rector of Uniku in his remarks said that the partnership can be a means of collaboration and explore experiences from Itenas which is already qualified as a private university in West Java. He also explained that Uniku is planning to establish an Engineering Faculty, so Itenas is chosen to be an exemplary university.

“We also do the best we can in implementing the MBKM program, which can be carried on by partnerships with institutions (universities, industries, etc.),” he said.

The Uniku’s delegations to the event were Dr. Dikdik Harjadi, S.E., M.Si. (Rector), Dr. Anna Fitri Hindriana, M.Si. (Vice Chancellor I), Dr. Ilham Adhya, S.Hut., M.Si.
