In her welcoming speech, Rector Prof. Meilinda Nurbanasari, Ph.D., expressed gratitude for Can Tho University’s trust in choosing Itenas Bandung as an international cooperation partner. She also mentioned that the international collaboration aligns with the Independent Learning-Campus Independent (Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka or MBKM) program, which breaks down national and cultural boundaries.
“It’s important to remember that with the initiation of cooperation, it is not only built on agreements but also on shared values, mutual respect, and a vision for the future,” said Rector Itenas.
The same sentiment was expressed by Can Tho University Rector Prof. Dr. Ha Thanh Toan. He also hoped that the collaboration with Itenas Bandung would expand their international cooperation network in Indonesia.
The signing of the MoU was witnessed by representatives from both parties, followed by the exchange of plaques and souvenirs, as well as a group photo. The collaborative programs between the two institutions include student and academic staff exchange, summer school, internships, and research opportunities for students, joint guidance for student projects/assignments, collaborative research, benchmarking, and other academic activities.
Through such international collaborations, Itenas Bandung continues to expand its network with foreign universities and enhances its quality as a prominent private institution in Indonesia.
