Signing Ceremony of MoU and MoA between Itenas and IDB Bali for Tridarma Collaboration
Institut Teknologi Nasional Bandung expands its network through the signing of a memorandum of understanding and a memorandum of agreement with Institut Desain dan Bisnis Bali. The signing ceremony took place on Wednesday (25/10/2023) at Gedung Rektorat Itenas.
During the occasion, representatives from Itenas included Prof. Meilinda Nurbanasari, Ph.D. (Rector), Mr. Abinhot Sihotang, S.T., M.T. (Vice Rector for Finance and General Affairs), Mr. Dani Rusirawan, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. (Vice Rector for Planning, Innovation, and Partnership), Dr. Andry Masri, M.Sn. (Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design), Dr. Eng. Fitri Suciaty, S.Si., M.Si. (Head of the Partnership, Public Relations, and Marketing Bureau), Dr. Jamaludin, M.Sn. (Head of the Interior Design Major), and Ms. Levita Dwinaya, S.S., M.Pd. (Head of Itenas International Office).
The Itenas Rector welcomed the visit from IDB Bali and appreciated the goodwill for collaboration. She expressed hope that through this collaboration, the institutions could share positive values not only limited to students but also with the academic communities.
A similar sentiment was expressed in the speech by the IDB Bali Rector, Dr. Ni Kadek Suryani, S.E., S.I.Kom., M.M. She conveyed high hopes that the established collaboration could be the beginning of continuous benchmarking activities, transferring knowledge from Itenas Bandung as an institution with extensive experience and academic track record. She also hoped for ongoing opportunities to realize various collaborations in the future.
The collaboration between both parties is focused on implementing the three pillars of higher education (Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi): education/teaching, research, and community service. Additionally, Itenas Bandung and IDB Bali collaborate on research and scientific studies, seminars and workshops, and the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, particularly in the Interior Design major. The signing of the memorandum of understanding and memorandum of agreement was conducted by the respective leaders, followed by the exchange of plaques and mementos between Itenas Bandung and IDB Bali, concluding with a group photo session.
